If you plan on hunting this weekend and you have poultry or work with poultry, take the necessary precautions to protect against spreading HPAI. Follow all biosecurity steps to reduce the opportunity for HPAI transmission from wild birds to yours at home. 

Avian influenza spreads quickly through direct, bird-to-bird contact. BUT it can also spread to birds via contaminated surfaces and materials, including people’s clothing, shoes, or hands.
